The Provincial Government of Guimaras together with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) promotes a harmonious and stable employment opportunities among its constituents. However, with the changing nature of labour market and economy over the past years has impacted on the role that high school education and training systems play in the preparation of graduates for the opportunities and challenges on how they will mainstream into workplace. The Public Employment Service Office (PESO) designed a training that develop student’s employability skills or behavioural characteristics that are believed to be essential for individuals to obtain and sustain employment at all levels in the labour market. The Employability Skills Training among graduating students in high school is one way of the Provincial Government of Guimaras to raise awareness and develop understanding of the importance of employability skills. This training will be conducted by the Public Employment Service Office together with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Guimaras field office. The target of this training will be conducted on selected school from each municipality and at Guimaras State College.
